Nate Pagel, CEO and Founder
Nate is a veteran startup entrepreneur who has been the founder or early team member of ten startup companies.  He has been a part of four exits, including the Apple acquisition of Flyby in 2015, the Microsoft acquisition of Mongomusic in 2000, and the Rakuten acquisition of Ebates in 2014 for $1B.  He has a design and engineering background with a degree from Rice University and a personal interest in video art.

Paul Petronelli, CTO
Paul is an experienced software systems architect who has filed many IP patents for software startups.  He co-founded and was the CTO of RedWave, a startup acquired by Qualcomm.  He is currently Chair of the HL7 Working Group for Mobile Health and annually leads the Health Technology Forum panel on Health Security at Stanford University.

Kim Bergeron, Director of Business Development
Kim started her healthcare journey in 2006 managing an oral surgeon's practice.  She moved on to Memorial Hermann Health System as a physician liaison for their ambulatory division, then became the Marketing Director for their Heart and Vascular service line.  Her degree in marketing and enthusiasm for connecting people make her an ideal business development head for Medifies. 

Don Corley, Director of National Accounts
Don is a Houston native with an extensive background in business development, first for MetLife, and then for WebMD, Bluegate, Zebec, and Baylor College of Medicine.  He has contributed to the success of Baylor Genetics in his role as Director of Strategic Partnerships and has a total of 25 years of experience in healthcare.

Bissy Michael, Operations Manager
Bissy is a recent Rice University graduate in civil engineering with a minor in computational and applied mathematics.  She has operations experience from serving as her college's president and managing the student-run bike shop, and she has a passion for healthcare and innovation.

Mimi Lee, M.D., Ph.D.
Mimi is a Juilliard-trained pianist who obtained her M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and her Ph.D. from Harvard University.  She is a board-certified anesthesiologist with extensive experience in healthcare consulting providing direction and advice to early-stage companies, investors, and medical practitioners.  Currently, she is the CMO of Medifies and the Global Lead of Medical Affairs at BioMarin Pharmaceutical, based in San Francisco.

Arjun Desai, M.D.
Arjun is currently the Vice President of Johnson & Johnson Innovation and the COO of JLABS Center for Device Innovation.  He is an anesthesiologist with his M.D. from Stanford University, where he remains an advisory board member.  He is also an affiliated faculty member of the Stanford Biodesign program, teaching Healthcare Economics, Policy, and Reimbursement.  He has a passion for innovation and significant experience in mentoring digital health and biotechnology startups.

Robert Hatkins
Rob is a supply chain management professional who is currently the Director of Sourcing at Stanford Health Care.  He has also worked extensively at the UCSF Medical Center as Manager of Business Development and Analytics and as an analyst.

Steven Kang, M.D.
Steven is a cardiologist and cardiac electrophysicist with his B.S. from Yale University and M.D. from George Washington University.  He is medical faculty at Alta Bates Summit Medical CenterEden Medical Center, San Leandro Hospital, and the John Muir/Mt. Diablo Medical Center.
